Little Mermaid, again...

Still on the year's Carnegie Dinosaur toy prototypes.  Alas, I cannot show them to you yet. Safari, the company producing them, very much wants the subjects to remain a surprise until they are released for public consumption. But thereafter, I’ll post some in progress images, and further develop the Carnegie Museum Dino page.  Meantime, here’s the Little Mermaid. You likely saw her before, but...  I aim to do more with Hans C. Andersen tales over the next while.

Golden Mermaid...

A little Mermaid who swam off on eBay last year.  She's Kato Polyclay -- her tail is colored with clay rather than with paint. Love the Kato metallic clays.  I added a bit of Jacquard Pearl Ex powders on the surface, too.  Were she a human, and standing up, she'd be about 8 inches tall.

The 'Thank You' was to eBay viewers, but serves well for you, kind friends who view this Blog! There are bright e-mails hoarded in my basket, which lift my spirits daily... Thank You!

Water Lily Mermaid

Hello Friends...
Here’s Water Lily Mermaid, who appeared on eBay under my ‘ForestBeings’ I.D.   She would stand about 8 inches tall, if she had human legs. She’s sculpted in Kato Polyclay.  Soon as I can (this blog is a proving a superb Avoidant Activity; I must ration the time spent) I’ll add some favorite sculpting supply links to this page.
